The CRIS designation consists of four (4) courses,
each class is 7.5 hours and a final exam.
* Course 100 deals with understanding key investment concepts like cap rates, NOI, cash on cash returns. Each attendee also receives an HP 10BII calculator, with instruction on how to use it! We begin looking at single family houses and small plexes as investments.
* Course 200 deals with general leasing terms and information. We examine small office and small retail as possible investments.
* Course 300 deals with the long-range aspect of real estate investments. We will learn how to forecast and project returns over a period of time.
* Course 400 deals with how to get into investments (including using IRA funds), how to get out of investments (including sale, exchange and estate planning); tips of how to share your knowledge with your clients.
